New Ferry Residents Association (NeFRA) consists of a group of local residents who volunteer their time to work on behalf of the New Ferry community.
We have a committee which meets informally when required to pursue a number of projects in agreement with local residents and businesses.
When necessary, we hold public meetings where YOU can come along to hear our latest plans and ideas, put forward your own ideas to improve New Ferry.
Although NeFRA is a non-political organisation, our local councillors also come along to most of our meetings where you can meet them face to face and raise any concerns you might have. We welcome your support and input for these meetings.
The date and time of our next meeting will be announced here when known.
NEW FERRY'S SUMMER FESTIVAL will be held on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th August 2025. The usual funfair has been booked, and other attractions are currently being sourced and will be announced here when confirmed.
If you are a stallholder who would like to book a pitch, please download the application form below. Please be aware that we cannot accept applications from several stalls all selling the same things (e.g. sweets, wax melts, facepainters, tombolas, etc) - these pitches will be allocated to stalls who have supported our previous events first, or otherwise on a first come, first served basis. We already have hot food taken care of (burgers, hotdogs, chips), and we don't have a licence for alcohol to be sold for instant consumption on the site.
In most cases you will be able to park behind your stall on the site. There is NO electricity on the site for refrigerators, so you will need to bring your own power generators if you need them. There will be access to toilets on site. We do NOT have gazebos or tables, so you must bring your own. Gazebos must be weighted down incase of wind incidents.
You MUST have your own public liability insurance as a business, and will need to provide us with a copy of it with your application. Anyone bringing prepared food they have made themselves must have the relevant hygiene/food preparation certification.
Pitch fees (for a 3 x 3m space) are £15 per day or £25 for two days. Double pitch spaces (6 x 3m) are £25 per day or £40 for 2 days. Please do not send money with your application - wait until your application is approved and you will receive an invoice with instructions on how to pay. Registered charities may have a pitch free of charge, as will any business that is registered in and has a shop in New Ferry/Port Sunlight.
If you offer an activity with the public paying a fee, we ask for 20% of your takings each day. To apply, please use the Activity Booking Form below.
